Since beginning sheepdog trialling in 1991, Malcolm has won the Tasmanian State
Championships three times, and the Victorian and Queensland Championships once. He has won the
Tasmanian Consistency Award ten times in the past eleven years and represented Australia eight times
with four different dogs.
Somerville Floss is a 7 year old Border Collie. She has won the Tasmanian Consistency Award three
times and represented Australia three times. Floss has been the Tasmanian State Champion twice,
the Queensland State Champion once and the runner up in the NSW State Championships last year.
Malcolm and his wife, Jo live in Deloraine. They have been married for 49 years and have four
children. He also breeds Thoroughbred horses and has bred the winners of the Launceston and Hobart
Cups, the Tasmanian Derby and the TRC Guineas.
